Essential preference storage

The site stores a value named ea-consent in your browser's local storage. It records whether you accepted or declined analytics so the banner does not ask on every page. A separate value, ea-marketing-consent, remembers your marketing choice. Each contains only the word granted or denied and is not used to identify you.

This preference remains until you change it, clear the site's stored data or use a browser setting that removes it.

If you choose “Take this to Peter” in the custom-build brief builder, the site temporarily stores your draft and its creation time as ea-project-brief in this tab's session storage. The enquiry page reads and removes it, and only imports drafts created within the previous 30 minutes. Starting a fresh brief or closing the tab also removes it. Your draft is not included in the page address and is not sent to Peter until you submit the enquiry form.

Optional analytics

If you enable Analytics in Cookie settings, the site loads Google Analytics. Google Analytics may then use cookies or similar identifiers to measure visits, pages viewed, broad device information, referral sources and approximate location. EdwardsApps uses this information to understand which pages are useful and improve the site.

If you decline, the Google Analytics script is not loaded. Google advertising storage, personalisation and user-data consent remain denied.

Optional marketing

If you enable Marketing, Meta Pixel (ID 3441716076000928) sends page-view events to Meta to help measure Facebook and Instagram advertising. Meta receives the page address, browser and device information and may use cookies such as _fbp and _fbc to associate visits with advertising interactions. See Meta's privacy policy.

The pixel does not load before marketing consent or after rejection. A previous analytics choice does not grant marketing consent. This installation records page views, not completed enquiries or purchases. There is no unconditional tracking image for visitors without JavaScript. Withdrawing marketing consent stops future pixel activity; it does not delete events already received by Meta.
